Warped Tarspawn

Magic is kind of lenient in the world of Between. Though it will pollute and corrupt, it will also subjectively make sure the result will not instantly die due to complications.

Tarspawn are quite likely to experience magical pollution, as they are forced to take residence where humans give them room. There is also a possibility humans would use magical weapons that cause fallout in the area.
Technically a warped colony should stop its functions until a new spawner can be sent, but few colonies actually report such a thing (It is not in their best interests to forfeit their unit production for a long time, and the damaged spawner naturally wants to keep hold of its life.)

As the colonies work around their new limitations and advantages, very elaborate and strange designs are bound to happen.
