Misshrna's species

I keep forgetting to put this stuff online.


I finally managed to design an intelligent species for Misshrna. Up until now, he has been the 'rebel' of the gods, refusing to take part in the intelligence-party.
He is still rebellious in some senses - refusing to design his species based on Kierrhna's design (humans), and incarnating as a divine beast rather than as a mortal one. The problem is, nobody dares to say anything otherwise since he is all too happy to flood the place.

The species for now is called 'Misshrna's fish', and it is a mix of whale and shark. It has very efficient gills connecting straight to its lungs, and it can breathe pure air as well, as long as it keeps its mouth open.
The large sphere on their forehead is rigid, and can not be pushed off its place. Instead, the fish is forced to turn its head if the orb is pushed.
It is the source of their magical powers (mainly healing, but also flooding certain areas). Healing may be performed by touch, but a flood can be caused only with the aid of moonlight, by raising the head above the water and letting the light hit the sphere.

Misshrna itself is a massive beast (larger than the previous reference, I've decided) that swims around the seas singing. It lits the orb on the forehead when it is hunting (mostly whales and large squid, it will not harm fishes or reptiles), and will sink any fishing ships it comes across. Large schools of fish follow Misshrna around wherever it goes, and predators are repelled from the beast.
